To attract investment to Spain, a new law facilitates the entry and stay in Spain of non-EU foreigners, obtaining the residence visa for foreigners who make real estate investments in Spain, which is known as Golden Visa.

Residence in Spain for foreign investors

Foreigners who wish to stay in Spain because they make a significant investment, may apply for a stay visa, or residence for investors.

Golden Visa - Credit the investment

In order to obtain a residence visa for Golden Visa investors, certain requirements must be met:
- The amount of the investment should be important.
- The financial intermediary should be accredited and registered with the National Commission of Securities Markets or the Bank of Spain.
- Have all the certificates of the investment made.

Duration of residence

The initial residence permit will have a limited duration of 2 years.
After this period has elapsed, foreign investors may again request residence for a further 2 years. Find out about the total deadline you could get!
